Wetherspoon Out, Jara In

Sam Caplan at Five Ounces of Pain! is reporting that Aaron Wetherspoon has suffered an injury and is out of his Gladiator Challenge and King of the Cage welterweight unification title bout with Jeremiah Metcalf.

Replacing Wetherspoon will be middleweight Jaime “El Cucui” Jara (15-4). Jara is currently on a 10 fight winning streak with victories over Carter Williams, Kyacey Uscola, and Anthony Ruiz. The bout will take place at a catch weight at 175 lbs.
