The Ultimate Fighting Championship has officially announced all of the fights set to take place at Ultimate Fight Night 6.

Coming into the fight with Mike Swick I&#8217d say Joe Riggs was training pretty hard. Stevenson, Alessio and Riggs all spent time together to prepare for their respective fights.

As of now I don&#8217t know what the deal is with Riggs but I&#8217m sure he&#8217ll be looking to send a message after his loss to Mike Swick.

i agree John. i was just hoping that someone would inform me that he is still completely dedicated because he has alot of things about him that you cant just train to achieve. i woud lhate to have the accusations confirmed that a great fighter was wasting himself. but maybe a good ol fasioned loss is enough to inspire him to bring it to his full potential&#8230

I&#8217m not totally sure about Riggs&#8217 training methods as of late. I do know that he trained with Billy Rush, Rich Franklin, Jeremy Horn, and a wealth of others for his fight against Lytle. I&#8217m not sure if he is still with that camp or if he has switched trainers. Anyone know for sure?

Joe Riggs was an absolute monster before he came to the UFC. He chalked up 12 wins in Rage in the Cage and his only losses came to fighters who had much more experience than he did. Riggs says that he is unable to fight to his maximum potential whenever he steps into the Octagon. Maybe it&#8217s all of the bright lights and everything.

Even with that holding him back, he has still been pretty impressive. I think a lot of people forget that Riggs is only 24 years old. He already has 32 MMA fights under his belt at that age. With a couple more years of fighting, he will mature into a much better fighter.

i live in AZ and people who know Joe Riggs tell me that now that he has been thrown a chance to fight hughes and all that he has gotten a big head and stopped training the way he did to get him to the big leagues.?.?. can anyone comment on this?
