Reports indicate that Zuffa and HBO are in serious negotiations and are close to reaching an agreement that would bring the UFC to HBO.
From MMAWeekly.com
“Zuffa’s current plan for 2007 is to run “about eleven” UFC pay-per-view events (priced at $39.95 per event), plus 6-8 Spike TV events (which includes 4-6 Ultimate Fight Night events and the live finales of TUF 5 and TUF 6), plus an unspecified number of HBO events if a deal can be finalized.”
So all the original stuff will stay the same but now HBO will host however many of their own events.
Does this mean just the pay-per-views will be coming to HBO or the whole series that the UFC has on Spike, like Ultimate Fighter and Ultimate Fight Night Live.
