UFC to Announce New TV Deal Tomorrow

The UFC has announced that it will hold a media conference call tomorrow afternoon to announce a new television deal with an unknown source.

I’m guessing that it could either be an extension with Spike TV or something new.

UFC President Dana White will apparently discuss the recent signing of former professional wrestler Brock Lesnar as well as the upcoming matchup between Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva at UFC 79. Lesnar, Liddell, and Silva are all expected to be on the call.

Both Sam Caplan and Dann Stupp are pointing out that the call begins at 4 PM EST, just a half hour before Randy Couture’s scheduled press conference at Xtreme Couture.

Just like I said yesterday I tuned into the conference call today and the UFC is with Spike until the end of 2011 with 2 more Ultimate Fighter shows commming in 2008,2 more Ultimate Fighter shows in 2009 and 1 more Ultimate Fighter in 2010 and then 1 more in 2011 with a new fighting show being created in 2010 and they will be doing one show of the new show in 2010 and 1 more in 2011 instead of doing 2 Ultimate Fighters in 2010 & 2011 they will do 1 Ultimate Fighter & 1 of the new show each yr in 2010 & 2011 Also during the 3 More yrs they will be with them the have agreed to do 12 Ultimate Fight Nights so like 4 of them a YR.

If you would like to watch it go to http://www.yahoo.com and look under Sports and then under MMA.

Brock Lesner’s first fight is supposed to be during Superbowl Saturday Dec 29th doesn’t matter though with the 2 big fights already happening that will just be a added bonus.
