UFC Releases The Headhunter

Paul Buentello has been released by the UFC and is now officially a free agent.

They have a right to match any offer I get. I called them myself to see what the deal was. I wanted to hear it with my own ears instead of what my manager told me. I told them what I needed and they said they couldn’t do that. As of today I am a free agent.

i dont know man&#8230 i dont think Paul Buentello fought the best heavyweights back when he was in the UFC&#8230 let alone try to hang with the best now (like Kongo or Sylvia) we saw what happened when he tried against Andrei

No kidding. It&#8217s called a joke. I actually plan to attend the Monson fight. And just because you have a few bad fights doesn&#8217t mean you are terrible. (that&#8217s not a joke)

to the previous poster, there are more than 2 heavyweights that can fight

Sylvia vs. Monson (which WILL be the next heavyweight title match)

Sylvia or Monson vs. Chieck Kongo

Arlovski will be in the mix as well, buentello was terrible and shouldn&#8217t be in the ufc.
