The Ultimate Fighting Championship will travel to the state of Nebraska for the first time in the promotion’s history when they hold another edition of “UFC Fight Night” at the Omaha Civic Auditorium on September 17th.
The organization announced the previously rumored event today. The show will air live on Spike TV and will precede the season premiere of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir”. The only ticket information that was released was concerning UFC Fight Club members, who have the opportunity to take advantage of a pre-sale on Wednesday, July 16th. Tickets are starting at just $35.
While the UFC has yet to officially announce any bouts for the event, a slew of potential fights have been heavily rumored over the last couple of months. The show’s main event is expected to be a lightweight clash between Clay Guida and Mac Danzig. Nebraska native Houston Alexander will also reportedly be in action.
The current rumored card is as follows:
Mac Danzig vs. Clay Guida
Josh Neer vs. Nate Diaz
Joe Lauzon vs. Kyle Bradley
Houston Alexander vs. Eric Schafer
Alan Belcher vs. Ed Herman
