- We’re live bitches!

- The first preliminary fight of the night is Marcus Aurelio making his UFC debut against Clay Guida.

Marcus Aurelio vs. Clay Guida

Round 1: The round starts with the two measuring each other up on the feet, each throwing the occasional shot. The pace picks up when Guida begins to land frequently with his right hand. Aurelio mounted a bit of a comeback when he started to land some lefts. They continue to trade shots on the feet until Guida knocked Aurelio down with a left hook. Guida jumped on top of Aurelio and tried to finish the fight but Aurelio was able to survive the round.

MMA on Tap scores the round 10-9 for Guida.

Round 2: The second round is a continuation of the first - both fighters are content to stay on their feet throwing strikes. Guida clearly won the battle on the feet during the beginning of the round. Aurelio tried to get away from the stand-up battle by attempting to get Guida to bite and move into his guard but Guida didn’t fall for it. Aurelio was finally able to take Guida down but Guida quickly swept Aurelio and got on top. Guida started throwing a mix of elbows and punches while Aurelio tried to move away from the strikes and pull Guida closer to him. Guida continued his ground and pound assault until the horn sounded to end the round.

MMA on Tap scores the round 10-9 for Guida.

Round 3: The final stanza was just like the first round - the entire five minutes was spent on the feet. Aurelio looked very tired to start the round and it was obvious as he showed very little offense in the round. Guida throws a mix of kicks and punches throughout the round but Aurelio does a pretty good job of fending off the shots. Aurelio shot for a takedown during the closing moments but Guida was able to stuff it. The two then exchange strikes until the end of the round.

MMA on Tap scores the round 10-9 for Guida and the fight 30-27 for Guida. The judges disagree and score the fight 30-27, 30-27 for Guida and 29-28 for Aurelio.

Winner: Clay Guida - Split Decision

The next fight is Thales Leites going up against Ryan Jensen.

Thales Leites vs. Ryan Jensen

Round 1: The round started off on the feet. Jensen tried to slow Leites down with a series of leg kicks and Leites answered with a flurry of punches. Leites takes Jensen down but Jensen almost catches Leites in a guillotine. After a quick scramble they stand up. Jensen rocks Leites with two good shots, sending Leites stumbling to the mat both times. Leites regains his composure and is able to turn Jensen around. Leites then pulls Jensen to the ground from behind. Jensen falls on top of Leites and Leites pulls guard. Leites then secures one of Jensen’s arm and attempts a kimura. Jensen refuses to tap and Leites then switches to an armbar, forcing Jensen to tap out.

Winner: Thales Leites - Submission (Armbar)

The next bout will be Antoni Hardonk challenging former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir.

Frank Mir vs. Antoni Hardonk

Round 1: The round starts with two exchanging some shots standing. Mir quickly shoots for the takedown and brings Hardonk to the ground after Hardonk throws a leg kick that is caught by Mir. Hardonk pulls guard and then tries to work for an omaplata but fails. Mir works his way out of Hardonk’s guard and gets side control. Mir then grabs ahold of Hardonk’s arm and locks in a kimura that forces Hardonk to tap out.

Winner: Frank Mir - Submission (Kimura)

- The final preliminary bout of the night will be Renato “Babalu” Sobral trying to get back in the win column against David Heath.

Renato Sobral vs. David Heath

Round 1: The round starts with the two fighters creating distance between each other with jabs. Sobral shoots in and secures a takedown. Sobral looks for a can opener but is unable to secure it. Heath has a tight guard but is unable to prevent a brutal ground and pound assault from Sobral. Sobral lands a number of punches and elbows during the flurry. Heath has a nasty cut on his head thanks to an elbow from Sobral. Heath is able to push Sobral off of him and then reverses position, ended up on top of Babalu. Sobral pulls guard and Heath throws some strikes of his own up until the horn sounded to end the round.

Round 2: Heath stuns Sobral with a right hand to start the second round. Sobral recovers and engages Heath in the clinch. The cut on Heath’s head continues to get worse. Sobral takes Heath down and quickly passes his full guard. Heath gets back to half guard while Sobral pounds away on Heath. Heath sticks his head up and Sobral is able to catch him in a guillotine choke. Sobral then leans to the side and transitions to an anaconda choke, forcing Heath to tap out or pass out. Sobral continues to hold the choke while referee Steve Mazzagatti tries to pry Sobral’s arm away. Sobral finally lets go and the crowd lets him hear it.

Winner: Renato Sobral - Submission (Anaconda Choke)

- Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan kick off the pay-per-view by breaking down Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga and Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck.

- The first fight of the evening is Patrick “The Predator” Cote vs. Kendal “Da Spyda” Grove.

Kendall Grove vs. Patrick Cote

- Walking out first is the TKO middleweight champion Patrick “The Predator” Cote. Cote is looking extremely focused as he walks to Remember the Name by Fort Minor.

- Out next is the always entertaining Kendall Grove walking to Californication by The Red Hot Chilipeppers. Grove looks very calm.

Round 1:

The fight begins with a glove touch as Cote immediately comes forward throwing an overhand right. After moving away they exchange again and then Cote gains the clinch. Little action as they battle along the cage. Knees to the body followed by some footstomps from Kendall. Both fighters exchange knees and then are separated. Cote with a hard leg kick. Another leg kick from Cote. Overhand right from Cote. Good body kick from Grove. Another excellent low kick from Cote. Grove moves forward with a good combination. He then presses Cote up against the cage. Cote reverses the position and they exchange knees. Grove looking to lock in the Thai clinch as they battle for position. Cote attempts picking Grove up for a slam but Groves height doesn’t allow him to secure the takedown. Grove lands an excellent right as they separate. Both guys exchanging with Grove looking to land the better right. He finishes the exchange with a beautiful body kick. Cote lands a huge right and drops Grove to the canvas. Cote pounces and lands some hammerfists. He then moves the mount and rains down shots before taking Groves back. After attempting to sink in the choke the regains mount and lands some bombs ending the fight.

- The UFC is showing the signing of former PRIDE middleweight champion Wanderlei Silva.

- Up next is Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino

Joe Stevenson vs. Kurt Pellegrino

- Kurt Pellegrino is the first to come out looking very relaxed as he walked and dances to Another One Bites the Dust by Queen. Very entertaining as Pellegrino busts a move on the runway.

- Out next is Joe Stevenson looking extremely focused.

Round 1:

The fight begins with a glove touch. Stevenson charges forward with a combo but nothing comes of it. Both fighters exchange jabs. Pellegrino working his jab. A few good shots from Pellegrino and then he shoots in. Stevenson stuffs it and lands a knee to the body. Pellegrino goes to a knee and then quickly gets up. Pellegrino then shoots in and puts Stevenson on the canvas. Stevenson immediately goes for a guillotine but Pellegrino breaks free. Stevenson reverses Pellegrino and they stand. Stevenson picks him up and secures a suplex. Pellegrino then puts Stevenson on the canvas and again Stevenson locks in the guillotine. Luckily Pellegrino is able to fight free. Stevenson lands some hard shots to the body as Pellegrino moves to side control. Stevenson regains guard and then Pellegrino stands up and lands a good right. Pellegrino continues to work from the top as Stevenson tries using the cage to reverse him. Stevenson lands a good right from the bottom. Pellegrino postures up and then passes Stevenson’s guard. Working from the half guard Pellegrino eats some shots to the body from Stevenson. Left shot followed by a right elbow from Pellegrino as he works from the top. Pellegrino lands a hard right elbow to end the first.

- Rashad Evans and Brandon “The Truth” Vera in attendance.

Round 2:

The second begins with a glove touch. Both fighters again exchanging jabs. Good left jab from Pellegrino. Pellegrino lands a right uppercut and then they clinch. They quickly separate and move to the middle. Stevenson just misses with a huge knee and then lands and excellent jab. Stevenson lands an excellent left. Pellegrino shoots in and gets caught and almost looks out. Stevenson lands some hard shots standing over him. Pellegrino gets up and lands some huge punches. Both fighters beginning to exchange bombs. Good straight shots from Pellegrino. Stevenson tries a wild haymaker but misses. They hit the canvas and Pellegrino immediately lands a huge elbow that opens up a cut over the left eye. Hard shot from Stevenson. Pellegrino gives up his back. Stevenson sinks in one hook and lands some hard shots from the back. Pellegrino reverses Stevenson and gains top position. Stevenson begins to work for the guillotine again. Pellegrino postures up and lands a huge haymaker. They return to the feet just as the round ends and clinch.

Round 3:

The round begins with a glove touch. Immediately Stevenson pushes the pace looking to exchange. Pellegrino lands a hard uppercut. Good 1-2 combo from Pellegrino. Stevenson just misses with a big left. They clinch along the cage and then separate moments later. Both fighters exchanging jabs. Two hard lefts from Stevenson. Pellegrino secures a beautiful takedown. Stevenson frantically trying to escape from the bottom. Stevenson stalling as Pellegrino uses top position. Stevenson refusing to change position so they are stood up. Stevenson looks like a madman ready to exchange. Stevenson leaves his neck open and Pellegrino latches on a guillotine. Stevenson escapes and then postures up and lands some shots. Good short right uppercuts as Stevenson stands over Pellegrino. Hard rights from Stevenson. Hard lefts from Stevenson. Pellegrino looks like he is in trouble. Hard knees from Stevenson. Pellegrino just misses with a head kick. Stevenson takes him down, Pellegrino immediately reverses him. Stevenson then reverses Pellegrino and begins to rain down bombs from the back. Pellegrino rolls for a leg lock as the round ends.

Joe Stevenson - Winner Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)

- Next up is Roger Huerta vs. Alberto Crane.

Roger Huerta vs. Alberto Crane

- BJJ expert Alberto Crane is the first to make his way to the octagon sporting a Tapout shirt.

- Next out is Roger “El Matador” Huerta who looks very calm.

Round 1:

Crane kicks the fight off with a few good leg kicks. Huerta moves forward with a punch and then a low kick, Crane shoots in looking for the takedown. Huerta stuffs it and momentarily takes Crane’s back. Crane is working to reverse the position. Huerta attempts rolling for a kimura. Crane gets free. Crane stands over Huerta and then drops down and takes Huerta’s back. Crane still working for the choke but Huerta gets out and gains top position. Hard shots from the top by Huerta. Crane using a very active guard. Crane almost grabs ahold of an arm and then they scramble. Crane now working from the top. Crane passes and moves to side control. Huerta gives up his back. Crame working for the choke. Huerta does an excellent job of escaping. Hard shots from the top from Huerta. Crane now looking for a guillotine. Cut now under the eye of of Crane. Bad swelling. Round ends with Huerta on top.

Round 2:

Second round begins with Huerta throwing a high kick immediately. It is blocked and then Crane shoots in. Huerta gets top position and starts raining down shots from Crane’s guard. Crane’s eye is extremely swollen. Crane looking to lock in an omaplata. Both fighters scrambling and then Huerta gives up top position. Crane working from side control.  Huerta is able to get free. Huerta now standing lands a hard kick to the body. Crane then stands and Huerta lands another kick that sends him to the canvas. Huerta now working from Crane’s guard as he rains down hard shots. Crane rolls for an armbar but Huerta is defending. Crane rolls for the armbar. He almost locks it in but Huerta works hard to get free. Huerta reverses Crane and gains top position. Good left from Huerta. Huerta gains the mount. Crane gives up his back as Huerta begins to rain down hard shots. Crane is in serious trouble. Huerta not attacking. Crane looks to be in serious trouble at the end of the round as Huerta just stands there and stares at him.

- It’ll be interesting to see if Crane answers the bell.

Round 3:

The third round begins with a weak body kick from Crane. Huerta lands a hard body kick. Crane tossing out weak shots but Huerta stuffs them. Huerta tries an axekick and puts himself into trouble. Crane looking to take Huerta’s back. Huerta landing elbows and punches as he watches the big screen in the arena. Huge elbows from Huerta as he watches the big screen in the arena. Huerta now takes the mount. Huerta begins to pound away from the top and Steve Mazzagatti has seen enough so he jumps in to call a halt to the fight.

- Herrreee weee goooo! Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck is up next!

Georges St. Pierre vs. Josh Koscheck

- The lights dim as Josh Koscheck begins to walk out from the back, the crowd booing. Koscheck looking very focused.

- The lights dim and the crowd goes crazy. The former UFC welterweight champion Georges “Rush” St. Pierre makes his way out of the back looking PUMPED. GSP looks alot like the fighter that appeared in the second bout with Hughes.

- Tame staredown.

Round 1:

The fight begins with glove touch. Koscheck fires an overhand right that is blocked. Double jab and overhand right from Koscheck. GSP shoots in and puts Koscheck on the canvas. Immediately GSP moves the half guard. Left elbow from GSP. Koscheck doing a good job of holding on. Two short lefts from GSP. Koscheck trying to elbow from teh bottom. Good elbows from GSP. Koscheck regains guard and tries to get to his feet. GSP keeps him down and pins him on against the cage. Koscheck trying to punch from the bottom. Three short lefts from GSP. Koscheck trying to reverse the postion. They stand and Koscheck goes for the takedown but GSP sprawls. Koscheck secures a big takedown. GSP immediately gets the butterfly guard. Koscheck trying to posture up but GSP keeping his guard. Good right hand from Koscheck as he works fromt he top. Hard left elbow from Koscheck. Koscheck postures up and lands a hard right as the round ends.

Round 2:

The second round starts with GSP faking a shot. Inside leg kick from GSP. Another leg kick and then GSP shoots in and puts Koscheck on the canvas. GSP working from half guard. GSP looking for a kimura. Koscheck escapes. Short lefts from GSP. GSP going for the kimura again. St.Pierre working hard for the kimura. St. Pierre gets free. GSP in side control. Hard elbow from GSP. Koscheck tries exploding out but GSP keeps him down. GSP looking to get out of the half guard. GSP working for the kimura again. GSP softening up the body while working the kimura. Koscheck is holding his shorts to stop the kimura. GSP ends the round on top working for the kimura as he elbows the body of Koscheck.

Round 3:

The final stanza starts with Koscheck firing off a jab. GSP lands a low kick. Koscheck tries an overhand right that misses. Body kick from GSP followed by a good straight jab. GSP working the leg kicks. Koscheck comes forward with a wild combo that misses. Koscheck just misses with a wild right. Hard right from GSP. Another wild combo from Koscheck. Low kick from GSP. Good right from GSP followed by a leg kick. Koscheck comes forward with a three shot combo and eats a stiff jab. GSP lands a grazing head kick. Koscheck with an overhand right. Good low kick from GSP. Another good low kick from GSP. Superman punch from GSP followed by a leg kick. Wild punches from Koscheck that misses as he shoots in. GSP defending the single. GSP stuffs it and gets top position. Good elbow from GSP. GSP working from Koscheck’s guard. Hard elbows from the top. Another hard left elbow. GSP working away from the top. GSP working the body and head. Good elbows from GSP. Another hard elbow. Left elbows from GSP. GSP falls back for a leg lock as the fight ends and then makes the champion gesture to the crowd.

Georges St. Pierre - Winner Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

- Georges St. Pierre asks the UFC brass for a fight in Montreal and tells them he will put on one hell of a show.

- Main event time, Randy Couture versus Gabriel Gonzaga. Rogan and Goldberg are currently hyping up the bout.

Randy Couture vs. Gabriel Gonzaga

- Gonzaga comes out first looking very calm.

- Next out is the UFC heavyweight champion Randy “The Natural” Couture as he walks to Back in Black by AC/DC. The crowd is going wild.

- Tame staredown.

Round 1:

The fight begins with a glove touch as Gonzaga quickly comes out with a right. Couture lands a hard jabs that rocks Gonzaga. He follows that up with a hard right that hurts Gonzaga. Couture shoots in but is unable to take him down. They clinch along the cage and Couture gets in a good punch. Knees to the legs. Couture almost gets the takedown and then they scramble. Couture lands a few knees and then Gonzaga responds with punches and a head kick. Couture shots in and secures a big takedown. Gonzaga lands a hard elbow and punch. Gonzaga’s nose is bleeding as they clinch along the cage. Knee to the body from Gonzaga. Couture goes for a trip but Gonzaga stops it. Nasty cut on Gonzaga’s nose. Excellent right elbow from Couture. They continue to clinch. Shoulder shots from Couture. Short left as Couture continues to pin Gonzaga against the cage. Knee to the leg from Couture. Excellent left elbow from Couture. Great left from Couture. Gonzaga looks exhausted. Good combination from Gonzaga, Randy shoots in and the round ends.

Round 2:

Gonzaga comes out with a 1-2 combo and just misses with a big headkick as Randy charges in and pushes him against the cage. Good combo from Gonzaga. Both fighters throwing bombs. Randy shoots in and they clinch. The fight is paused because Gonzaga cannot see. Gonzaga says he wants to fight. The fight is restarted and Randy goes for a takedown but Gonzaga holds the cage and loses a point. Couture holding Gonzaga’s back while kneeing his legs. Hard punches from Couture. Couture explodes against the cage firing off numerous shots against Gonzaga. Couture lands a huge uppercut followed by more knees and punches. Randy still pinning Gonzaga against the cage. Gonzaga just misses with an elbow. Randy fires a few elbows and then shoots in. Gonzaga reverses the position and puts Randy against the cage but moments later Randy gets his position back. Two hard uppercuts from Couture. He continues to pin Gonzaga against the cage. As the round ends Gonzaga attempts to go for a takedown but fails.

Round 3:

Gonzaga attempts a head kick that is blocked. Excellent overhand right from Couture. Gonzaga keeping the distance and throwing two shot combos. Gonzaga lands a huge head kick and Randy just shrugs it off and gains the clinch. Couture secures the takedown and gains half guard. Lefts from Couture, Gonzaga not defending, Herb Dean jumps in. Randy Couture wins!
