Update 3:30 PM ET: Frank Trigg revealed through his TAGG Radio show today and The Underground Forum that he has not signed with DREAM and not will be fighting Ronaldo Souza, who happens to be a training partner of his at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas.

DREAM parent company Fight Entertainment Group has announced four more bouts for the first round of the organization’s upcoming middleweight grand prix, which will currently take place on April 29th at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

I never know what to believe when it comes to information about Nick Diaz from his camp’s website, Graciefighter.  They drop this proposed fight the week he’s announced as competing in Hawaii on June 14th, six weeks after this proposed DREAM fight.  But conveniently for Diaz, Garcia is said to have refused it.  First its Noons that refused to fight him, now Marcelo Garcia.  Yeah, everyone is so scared of Nick Diaz.  Whatever.

LOL, apparently the announcement of Trigg vs Jacare was premature as well.  Frank Trigg posted this on the Underground Forum that it will not take place.

Sorry guys. I’m not fighting for dreams. We were talking to them a while back but they moved to slow to get the deal done. Jacare and I both tran at xtreme couture in. Las vegas and if we ever fought it would be in the finals. Sorry you guys were misinformed.

Good to see DREAM following in Pride’s footsteps of announcing fights that have no chance of happening!

I kind of thought that Trigg-Jacare matchup was a little fishy to begin with, especially since they both train at Xtreme Couture. Then again so have Kimbo Slice and James Thompson so who knows. Anyway, from the way Trigg has been talking lately, it doesn’t sound like he’ll be fighting anytime soon.
