A trio of bouts have been added to "The Ultimate Fighter Live Finale", which is scheduled to take place on June 1 at The Pearl Theatre at The Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Among the fights announced by the UFC on Friday included featherweight battles between slick grappler Charles Oliveira and former "TUF" winner Jonathan Brookins, Hawaii native Max Holloway and Minnesota prospect Pat Schilling and "TUF 14" alumnus John Albert and Byron Bloodworth.
Headlining the event will be a pivotal welterweight clash between top contenders Jake Ellenberger and Martin Kampmann with the winner in line for a UFC welterweight title shot between injured reigning champ Georges St. Pierre and interim title holder Carlos Condit.
Oliviera bounced back from a three-fight winless streak to brutally submit Eric Wisely with a calf slicer at their bout at UFC on FOX 2 in January. Brookins was last seen with his hand raised via a first-round KO of Vagner Rocha at UFC on FUEL TV 1 in February.
Holloway was undefeated as a pro before suffering his first loss at the hands of rising featherweight sensation Dustin Poirer at UFC 143. His opponent, Schilling, fell to Daniel Pineda via submission at UFC on FX 1 on January 20 in his first-ever UFC bout.
A cast member on "The Ultimate Fighter 14", Albert scored a surprisingly quick TKO of housemate Dustin Pague in his UFC debut prior to being submitted by seasoned veteran Ivan Menjivar this past February. Bloodworth put forth a spirited effort but was eventually stopped on second-round strikes by Mike Easton at UFC on Versus 6 last October.
