The Daily Recap: Two Bouts Set for UFC 145, Ken Stone Catches Injury Bug & More

— The UFC today announced a pair of bouts for UFC 145, which is slated for the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on March 24. Mark Hominick will attempt to bounce back from a devastating knockout loss to Chan Sung Jung in a featherweight bout against California fight scene veteran Eddie Yagin. In addition, skilled grappler Mark Bocek will lock horns in a pivotal lightweight affair against "Ultimate Fighter" alumnus Matt Wiman. []

— Just one day after it was announced that Ken Stone would face Mike Easton on the undercard of UFC on FX 1, the Massachusetts native has been forced to withdraw from the bout due to an undisclosed injury suffered during a recent training session. A replacement opponent for Easton has not yet been named. [MMA Weekly]

— "Ultimate Fighter" season seven welterweight winner Amir Sadollah has been forced out of his scheduled matchup with Jorge Lopez at UFC 143 on February 4 due to injury. He will be replaced by fellow "TUF" product Matt Riddle, who takes on Wanderlei Silva training partner Jorge Lopez. Riddle was scheduled to compete this past weekend at UFC 141, but his 170 lb clash with Luis Ramos was scrapped at the last minute after Riddle fell ill. []

— The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released the official list of medical suspensions, stemming from this past weekend's UFC 141 event, which took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The most notable suspensions involve Brock Lesnar, Nate Diaz and Manny Gamburyan, who could all be out of action until June for abdominal, eye and shoulder injuries respectively. [MMA Mania]
