The Daily Recap is a collection of news and notes from around the web that will be posted at the end of each day. Bout signings, injury news and much more can all be found here.

— Former WEC featherweight king will try to get back on track in a pivotal bout against former WEC bantamweight title holder Brian Bowles in a main card bout tapped for UFC 139, which takes place on November 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. Faber last fell to Dominick Cruz via unanimous decision in a failed bantamweight title bid at UFC 132 earlier this month while Bowles returned to the cage after over a year on the sidelines due to injury and took a unanimous nod over Takeya Mizugaki. — Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion will fight for the first time since losing his title to Dan Henderson in March as he takes on former Olympic wrestler Yoel Romero at the organization's September 10 event in Cincinnatti, Ohio. Romero is a perfect 4-0 thus far in his professional career. He won a silver medal in wrestling at the 2000 Summer Olympics. [MMA Junkie]
