The Daily Recap is a collection of news and notes from around the web that will be posted at the end of each day. Bout signings, injury news and much more can all be found here.

Upstart UFC welterweight Brian Ebersole has received young submission artist T.J. Waldburger as his next opponent at UFC on FX 4 on June 22 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Ebersole has won all three of his UFC bouts to date, most recently winning a controversial split decision over Claude Patrick at UFC 140 in December. Waldburger has won three of his four in the UFC, recently earning consecutive submission wins over Mike Stumpf and Jake Hecht. [UFC.com]

UFC veteran Brian Foster has been forced out of Bellator's upcoming season-six welterweight tournament due to additional screening needed in order to gain medical clearance to fight. He will be replaced by Blackhouse member and 170 lb prospect Jordan Smith. Foster missed nearly a year of action after suffering a brain hemorrhage in the winter of 2010. No word on whether or not that contributed to his removal from the tournament. [Bellator.com]

Mike Pyle has revealed that he will take on fellow longtime veteran Josh Neer at UFC on FX 3, which is currently scheduled for June 8 at a location to be determined because of the UFC's "Hometown Throwdown" contest. Pyle is coming off of a first-round TKO of Ricardo Funch at UFC 142 in January, while Neer won his sixth straight with a technical submission of Duane "Bang" Ludwig at UFC on FX 1 that same month. Henry Martinez will reportedly return to action and drop down to the lightweight division on June 8 at UFC on FX 3 as the Team Jackson-trained fighter will face off against Bernardo Magalhaes. Martinez fell short in his UFC debut, taking a short-notice fight as a severely undersized welterweight against Matt Riddle, who won a decision. Magalhaes lost on the judges' scorecards to KOTC champion Tim Means at UFC on FUEL TV 1 last month. [MMA Weekly]
