The UFC has announced that they’ll be returning to London, England on February 16, 2013 at the Wembley Arena. While no fights have been announced, it is being reported that the card will be UFC on Fuel TV 7.

It looks like Nick Diaz is getting consideration for a UFC welterweight shot again… At least by Tristar head trainer Firas Zahabi. Zahabi told MMA Junkie, "I think Diaz is the guy who deserves it most. His fight with Carlos (Condit) was so close. Who knows? People judge it both ways.”

Of course, Johny Hendricks is current front runner after he stopped Martin Kampmann at UFC 154. Diaz is still sidelined, serving the remainder of his suspension for testing positive for marijuana metabolites.

Jose Aldo has stated that if he can defeat former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar at UFC 156, he’ll consider making the jump to lightweight. Aldo has long pondered the idea of moving up but he feels the fight with Edgar will be a good gauge for how he’ll fair at 155 lbs.

Aldo told MMA Fighting, “"I've considered going to lightweight. As soon as my trainer decides that I can go up, then I will. This fight with Edgar will be a turning point. If I can win [against] him well, then I can prove that I can go [to lightweight].”

Mike Dolce, creator of The Dolce Diet, spoke with Joey Diaz on The Church of What’s Happening Now Podcast and said that Chael Sonnen is currently walking around at a ripped 240 lbs. Dolce confirmed the news on Twitter. [Bloody Elbow]
