Tank Abbott Fought Two Weeks in a Row and Won Both Times

It seems unbelievable, but here is video of Tank Abbott rematching Scott Ferrozzo in a backyard two weekends ago. Seriously, it is. The two originally met at UFC 11 in 1996, with Ferrozzo scoring an unanimous decision win and a mild upset. After years of trash-talking between the two on random internet radio shows, they finally met. Not at the Dixie Cowgirls Night Club in Dayton Ohio as rumored, but on grass.

If that's not enough, Abbott reportedly fought again this past weekend, on the same card that a planned celebrity boxing match between Lenny Dykstra and Jose Canseco was supposed to go down.

According to these cats, Abbott avenged a UFC 43 loss to Kimo Leopoldo:

In a bizarre and unexpected twist, Tank Abbott got a chance to avenge a UFC 43 loss to Kimo Leopoldo on Saturday night as a surprise addition to a Celebrity Boxing card in Hollywood that was full of oddities, no-shows, and absurd behavior.

As if the card couldn’t get any odder, Tank Abbott and Kimo Leopoldo squared off for three, one minute rounds wearing head gear and some hefty looking gloves. In the end, it wasn’t even clear who won, but the fans in the crowd appeared to be the big losers of the night.

Something tells me that Don Frye might be getting a phone call or eight in the coming days if this keeps up...
