In a fitting turn of events, UFC, PRIDE and K-1 veteran Heath Herring will be making his second appearance in the octagon on April 7th at UFC 69: Shootout in Houston, Texas.
Heath Herring made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 8 when he was dominated by heavyweight prospect Jake O’Brien. Many people were disappointed with the veteran’s performance but Herring revealed after the fight that he had a torn MCL which forced him to come out with the awkward stance. Herring’s opponent is currently unknown.
Also on the card will be Mike Swick who’ll be fighting Yushin Okami in a battle for middleweight contendership.
