Sylvia and Alexander to Co-Headline Updated Adrenaline IV Fight Card

Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia and heavy-handed fan-favorite Houston Alexander will co-headline Monte Cox’s “Adrenaline MMA IV” show, which is slated to take place on September 18 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

The event will be televised live in North America on HDNet. UFC veterans Chad Reiner, Forrest Petz,  and Joe Vedepo will also compete on the event’s televised main card.

Sylvia will attempt to bounce back from a shocking first-round KO at the hands of former boxing heavyweight champion Ray Mercer against Jason Riley, a Midwestern heavyweight prospect that has won six out of seven professional fights to begin his career.

Alexander will lock horns with fellow UFC veteran Sherman Pendergarst, best known for his lone loss in the Octagon - a first round knockout at the hands of Antoni Hardonk at UFC 65. Pendergarst has struggled mightily since, losing ten out of his last thirteen bouts.
