Former “Ultimate Fighter” cast member Mike Swick and Canadian welterweight Jonathan Goulet may reportedly meet in a featured bout that would take place at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale on December 13 in Las Vegas according to Five Ounces of Pain.
Bout agreements have not yet been handed out but the UFC is said to be in the process of putting the bout together and both fighters are apparently interested. Swick and Goulet were originally scheduled to fight at UFC Fight Night 11 last year but Swick withdrew from the fight after suffering a rib injury.
Swick dropped down to the welterweight division after falling to Yushin Okami at UFC 69 and has won his first two fights at 170 lbs. Swick earned a majority decision over Josh Burkman at UFC Fight Night 12 and then won a unanimous decision against Marcus Davis at UFC 85 in June.
Goulet is also riding a two-fight winning streak, which most recently saw him score a second-round TKO of Kuniyoshi Hironaka at UFC 83 earlier this year. Goulet was scheduled to take on Paul Kelly at UFC 85 but withdrew from the bout a month before the event.
