Stephane Dube to Face T.J. Grant at TKO 30

TKO Major League MMA has announced that Stephane Dube will now be facing T.J. Grant in a welterweight affair at TKO 30: Apocalypse. Dube was originally scheduled to face Tyler Jackson in a lightweight contender match

but the fight was scrapped after Jackson suffered an injury during training

(please see update below).

Stephane Dube is a member of BTT Canada who sports a TKO record of 6-1. Dube made his professional debut in September 2003 losing to Dave Goulet. Since then he has reeled off six straight wins including five stoppages solidifying himself as one of the top fighters in TKO.

T.J. Grant is a native of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia who sports a professional MMA record of 7-1. Grant holds victories Eric Beaulieu, Elmer Waterhen, and Kevin Manderson.

Update Sep 21 1130am: Epic Fight Management, Tyler Jackson’s management team, has told MMA on Tap that the Jackson vs Dube fight was scrapped because Dube decided he was no longer interested in fighting in the 155 lb division. Jackson and his camp had no interest in taking the fight at a catch weight. TKO was then unable to secure a replacement to battle Tyler Jackson.
