Silva Unable to Gain Medical Clearance; Silva vs Vovchanchyn Off

According to The Fight Network former PRIDE middleweight champion Wanderlei Silva has failed to gain medical clearance from the Nevada State Athletic Commission meaning he cannot fight on Sunday’s PRIDE 34: Kamikaze card.

On February 24th, Silva was handed a six-week medical suspension after suffering a second round knockout to the hands of Dan Henderson.
