A California newspaper published an article today stating that Ken Shamrock will retire from fighting after his rumored fight against Tito Ortiz on the October 10th UFC Fight Night card.
Agreed. Randy did it right when he left with a smile and people wanting to cry because they were excited by his fights. people are excited by kens fights but the problem is, everyone holds on to what he used to be. and that is something he cant bring back. make like randy and take your last loss in october like a man and move on…
i will always appreciate and be a fan of ken. dont think this is to bash him
I don’t think it’s helping anybody if Shamrock isn’t coming out, winning, and putting on the performances that he did in the 90’s. Granted, his last three losses in the UFC have come to Ortiz twice and Franklin of all people. Shamrock’s pride won’t let him fight anyone lower than an elite fighter in order to re-establish himself - because of that, Ken isn’t going to win fights. It’s time…
I really hope he doesn’t retire. IMO he makes the UFC the UFC, know what I mean.
