Five Ounces of Pain is reporting that Jason “Mayhem” Miller will now be facing IFL veteran Tim Kennedy at HDNet Fights II: Reckless Abandon on December 15th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Miller’s original opponent, Sean Salmon, has been indefinitely medically suspended by the California State Athletic Commission after being viciously knocked out by Jorge Santiago at Strikeforce: Four Men Enter, One Man Survives this past weekend.
As for Miller and Kennedy, the two have fought before. Kennedy actually defeated Miller during a middleweight tournament at Extreme Challenge 50 in 2003. He would go on to win the tournament as well.
Miller is also scheduled to face Elias Rivera in a preliminary bout at the IFL Grand Prix Finals on December 29th.
