Perennial pound-for-pound women's great Megumi Fujii has reportedly agreed to take on fellow top-ranked 115 lb female fighter Jessica Aguilar at Bellator 69 on May 18.
The news comes from MMA Rising, who received word of the bout from Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney. The non-tourney bout and event will emanate from the L’Auberge du Lac Casino and Resort in Lake Charles, Lousiana.
Fujii suffered her first professional loss in her last Bellator appearance, an upset at the hands of Zoila Gurgel. She has reeled off three straight wins since, most recently submitting Karla Benitez with one of her patented armbars at DREAM's New Year's Eve show.
Aguilar last defeat also came at the hands of Gurgel under the Bellator banner, back in September 2010. The American Top Team product is currently riding a four-fight win streak.
