“Ultimate Fighter 5” alumnus Corey Hill could reportedly take on United States Navy veteran Dale Hartt at a planned “military-themed event” that would likely become UFC Fight Night 16 and would take place on December 10 on a U.S. military base according to MMA Junkie.
The UFC has yet to officially announce the event. Bout agreements have not yet been signed either but both fighters are expected to meet at the event in one of multiple matchups featuring fighters with service-oriented backgrounds.
Hill, who was found to have embellished his fighting credentials prior to being cast on ‘TUF 5’, was victorious in his first official UFC fight, a second-round TKO of Joe Veres at UFC Fight Night 12. Hill most recently was submitted by Justin Buchholz in a preliminary bout at UFC 86 in July.
Hartt won his first five professional fights over a four-year period before signing a multi-fight deal with the UFC over the summer. He was defeated in his UFC debut, losing via first-round submission to City Boxing product Shannon Gugerty at UFC Fight Night 15 on July 19.
