UFC light heavyweights Rashad Evans and Thiago Silva will collide at the UFC’s scheduled event in May according to Brazilian news site Tatame.
It’s too early for anything to be official but various reports are stating that a fight between the two has been rumored for some time and may very take place.
Both have never lost inside the confines of the UFC and both are undefeated in their professional careers as well. Evans, the former winner of the third season of The Ultimate Fighter, is coming off of a hard-fought unanimous decision over Michael Bisping at UFC 78 in November.
Silva has won his first three fights inside the Octagon. His last was a stoppage victory over Houston Alexander two months ago. According to Tatame’s article, Silva is currently training with American Top Team inside of his Chute Boxe home. Sources say that it is nothing permanent.
