Hard-hitting light heavyweights Jason Lambert and Luis Cane will both try to bounce back from recent losses against each other when the Ultimate Fighting Championship travels overseas to London, England for UFC 85.
The news comes from Sherdog.com, which reports that bout agreements were signed by both fighters last week.
Lambert failed to capitalize on any momentum he may have gained as a result of a shocking upset win over Renato “Babalu” Sobral last year as he was stopped by Wilson Gouveia at UFC 80 in January.
The North County Fight Club product will now try to get back on track against Cane, who was disqualified in his UFC debut back in December, illegally kneeing opponent James Irvin in the face while Irvin was still down on the canvas.
UFC 85 will also feature a light heavyweight contenders match between former champion Chuck Liddell and “Ultimate Fighter” season two winner Rashad Evans. Heavyweight standouts Fabricio Werdum and Brandon Vera will also clash.
