Rising heavyweight star Brock Lesnar could return to action as soon as November, potentially headlining a yet-to-be-announced UFC 91 show, which is rumored to be taking place on November 15th at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon.

Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports this morning that Lesnar recently found out that the UFC “would like him to compete next on a November card, but his opponent and site remain undetermined.” The article did not mention any other details including a possible opponent or whether or not Lesnar had agreed to fight on the show.

Lesnar picked up his second professional win earlier this month, coasting to a unanimous decision win over veteran Heath Herring at UFC 87. The buzz following the event was that Lesnar could possibly take on fellow contender Cheick Kongo in his next bout, although the UFC has yet to comment on the matchup.

It was reported yesterday that UFC 91 could also feature a lightweight showdown between top contender Kenny Florian and one-time title challenger Joe Stevenson as well as a return bout featuring Dean Lister, who is coming off of a knee injury that forced him out of his scheduled bout against Thales Leites at UFC Fight Night 15.
