The Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced that Igor Pokrajac will replace Anthony Perosh and now face Joey Beltran at UFC on FX 6. Perosh was forced to withdraw from the bout after suffering a gruesome broken toe while training.
Pokrajac enters the fight with a professional MMA record of 20-8. Pokrajac holds UFC victories over Fabio Maldonado, Krzysztof Soszynski, Todd Brown and James Irvin. His last outing came at UFC 152 where he suffered a submission loss to BJJ specialist Vinny Magalhaes.
Beltran possesses a MMA record of 12-7 with victories over the likes of Aaron Rosa, Tim Hague, Rolles Gracie and Houston Alexander. After being cut from the UFC in January, Beltran made his return in July dropping a hard fought decision to James Tehuna.
UFC on FX 6 is scheduled for December 14 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland, Australia.
