Team Quest products will collide in the main event of Sportfight’s latest offering later night at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon as Mike Pierce and Nathan Coy clash in a battle of undefeated rising welterweights.

Pierce, who started out his career at Team Quest before ultimately leaving the camp on bad terms, will now fight his third straight former teammate in the form of Coy. Pierce has defeated former training partners Mike Dolce and Ed Nuno in his last two fights. His win over Nuno earned him the Sportfight welterweight title belt in December.

Coy has been victorious in his first four professional bouts, most recently submitting Jerrod Jones with strikes at Sportfight’s “Re-Awakening” event back in April. Prior to that, he knocked out newcomer Dave Courchaine at “Strikeforce at the Dome” two months earlier.

Other notable fighters on the card include Fabiano Scherner, Ryan Jensen, and Jake Ellenberger.

“I don’t think I’ve ever had this much talent on a card before,” said Matt Lindland, Sportfight President in a recent press release sent out to the media. “We’re flying in some top international fighters, in addition to some of the best free agent fighters out there. We’re talent deep, and we’re heavyweight deep. On paper, this could be one of the better shows that we’ve had.”

The complete card for the event is as follows:

Mike Pierce vs. Nathan Coy - Sportfight Welterweight Title
Josh Queen vs. Josh Bennett - Sportfight Heavyweight Title
Jake Ellenberger vs. Ricky Storey
Ryan Jensen vs. Dinarte Silva
Fabiano Scherner vs. Mychal Clark
Justin Moody vs. D.J. Linderman
