Featherweight prospect Damacio Page will challenge highly ranked Pancrase veteran Yoshiro Maeda at World Extreme Cagefighting’s next event in June.

The promotion announced the bout through their official website earlier today.

Both Page and Maeda were victorious in separate bouts at WEC 32 in February. The victory was Page’s second in as many fights, helping him bounce back from a rough 2006 that saw him lose three out of five bouts at one point

Maeda will become Page’s most high-profile opponent to date. The current heavyweight King of Pancrease knocked out Charlie Valencia with a body kick in February and has not lost since being submitted by former WEC title contender Joe Pearson at a PRIDE event in November 2006.

WEC 34 will also feature a highly-anticipated featherweight title clash between current champion Urijah Faber and former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver.
