Thales Leites has been forced to pull out of his scheduled middleweight bout against Nate Marquardt at UFC 81: Breaking Point after suffering a broken hand during a training session yesterday.
The UFC made the announcement on their official website this afternoon.
Since losing a unanimous decision to Martin Kampmann at The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale, Leites has knocked off three straight wins over Pete Sell, Floyd Sword, and Ryan Jensen in consecutive UFC events.
Leites is expected to undergo surgery on his hand at some point this week.
