Japanese legend Kazushi Sakuraba has been penciled in as a last minute addition to the upcoming DREAM 11 card slated for this Tuesday at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.
DREAM 11 will feature a lightweight title bout between Joachim Hansen and Shinyah Aoki along with the DREAM Featherweight Grand Prix 2009 Final.
Sakuraba possesses a decorated mixed martial arts record of 24-12-1. Sakuraba, a veteran of UFC Japan, K-1, and PRIDE, holds victories over notable names including Carlos Newton, Vitor Belfort, Royler Gracie, Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Ryan Gracie, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, and Ken Shamrock.
Sakuraba is currently riding a two-fight losing streak with losses to Melvin Manhoef and Kiyoshi Tamura.
Williams has yet to step into the MMA ring but he does possess a professional boxing record of 29-8-1. Williams appeared on Season 3 of “The Contender”.
