A bantamweight encounter between rising prospect Demetrious Johnson and Brazilian sensation Renan Barao has been tapped to take place at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale on June 4 in Las Vegas.
Tatame.com was the first to report on the bout.
Lightweight contender Clay Guida and WEC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis are expected to clash in the show's main event.
Johnson is fresh off of an eye-opening unanimous decision win over one-time pound-for-pound phenom Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto at UFC 126 earlier this month. Johnson has won three out of four fights under the Zuffa banner, his lone loss coming at the hands of Brad Pickett.
After competing under a variety of Brazilian umbrellas for a handful of years, Barao made his WEC debut last June, submitting Anthony Leone with a third-round armbar. Barao followed up on that performance with a quick submission win over Chris Cariaso at the WEC's final event in December.
