Jeremy Horn Retires

Today Jeremy Horn announced that he is retiring from fighting. He has stated that he will take at least one-year off and then he weigh his options at that time.

During his time off he’ll continue to train fighters and help teammate’s prepare for upcoming fights.

Yeah I wouldn&#8217t be suprised to see Horn return. Basically he is coming off two tough losses to Matt Lindland and Chuck Liddell. He needs to sit back and recoup much like Frank Trigg has done.

Horn will continue to be one of the best coaches in the business but I just cannot see him hanging up the gloves for good. We&#8217re talking about a guy here who has 98 fights that we know about and he has been known to fight for free to help his friends out.

He&#8217ll be back.

I&#8217d say him coaching a team in the IFL is the best bet at this point. A lot of fighters mentioned that Jeremy spent more time training others than he did preparing for his own fights, a testament to how dedicated he is to the sport.

Horn had a fantastic career. He&#8217s still relatively young so I wouldn&#8217t be surprised if the IFL couldn&#8217t drag him back for a superfight or something of that nature&#8230

I&#8217d say Horn will be the next coach in the IFL. Instead of cornering Hughes or Pulver at the upcoming UFC event Horn decided to corner Miletich at the IFL event.
