Jeremy Horn Done in the UFC

After beating Chael Sonnen at UFC 60 it has been announced that the UFC will not re-sign Jeremy Horn. The fight against Sonnen was his third on a three fight deal which saw him face Chuck Liddell, Trevor Prangley and Chael Sonnen who replaced an injured Evan Tanner.

I agree but in a sense I see where the UFC is coming from. If Horn wants to stay in the middleweight division but has no intentions of fighting for the belt what is the point of keeping him. No need for him to pick off you contenders if he has no intentions of fighting Rich Franklin.

Huge mistake IMO. I know he wasn&#8217t going to fight Franklin, but they could have pushed that Forrest Griffin rematch. Plus Jeremy is an amazing fighter.
