Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Chad Reiner will tangle with talented English striker Dan Hardy for the vacant Cage Warriors welterweight title at the promotion’s latest show tomorrow night in Nottingham, England.
Since dropping his two straight bouts in his only UFC stint to date, Reiner has bounced back to win his last four fights. He last stopped fellow welterweight Mark Moreno with strikes at an X-1 event in January.
Hardy has won seven of his last eight fights. Most recently, he submitted Manuel Garcia by way of strikes in December.
“When I met Chad in Florida, he was respectful and I have no bad feelings towards him personally,” Hardy said in a recent press release sent out to the media. “However this Saturday night is strictly business. When someone steps into the cage with me they better be ready because I’m throwing everything with bad intentions.”
Lightweight contender Andre Winner will also be in action, taking on Cage Rage veteran Bendy Casimir.
