Happy 15th Birthday, UFC
Today marks the 15th anniversary of UFC 1, which took place at the McNichols Sports Arena in Denver, Colorado on November 12, 1993. Jordan Breen has a must-read article concerning how he got into mixed martial arts at Sherdog.com which also includes a timeline of the UFC’s last 15 years as well. On a semi-related note, UFC play-by-play announcer Mike Goldberg will be participating in his 100th UFC event this Saturday night.
