The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has released the official list of medical suspensions stemming from Saturday night’ EliteXC: Renegade show which took place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
The department traditionally issues a minimum suspension of seven days to all fighters for general precautionary reasons.
The list of medical suspensions is as follows:
Nick Diaz received the longest medical suspension, being forced out of action for at least two months.
Newly crowned EliteXC Lightweight Champion K.J. Noons was medically suspended for one month. Seth Kleinbeck, Bo Cantrell, Jon Kirk, and Ralph Kelly have also been given a mandatory one month break.
Matt Lucas, who defeated Jon Kirk in one of the preliminary bouts, was medically suspended for nine days.
The following fighters have all been medically suspended for one week: Kimbo Slice, Jake Shields, Mike Pyle, Antonio Silva, Kyle Noke, Jonathan Wiezorek, Yves Edwards, Geoff Bumstead, Robert Ruiz, Nick Gonzalez, Daniel Pineda, Brett Rogers, and Jae Suk Lim.
