Welterweights Luke Cummo and Luigi Fioravanti will collide at UFC 82: Pride of a Champion which will take place on March 1st at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
Cummo made the announcement in the message forums on his official website earlier today.
Cummo was a contestant on the second season of The Ultimate Fighter where he ended up making it to the finals of the tournament only to lose to eventual UFC lightweight top contender Joe Stevenson.
Since then, Cummo has racked up wins over Josh Haynes, Edilberto de Oliveira, and Jason Von Flue while dropping a decision to Jonathan Goulet along the way.
Fioravanti has not fought in the UFC since losing a unanimous decision to Forrest Petz at UFC Fight Night 10 last June. Fioravanti split his other four fights under Dana White and company, losing to Jon Fitch and Chris Leben while defeating former UFC middleweight champion Dave Menne and Solomon Hutcherson.
