CSAC Suspends Jason Winthers
Jason Winthers has been suspended by the California State Athletic Commission after testing positive for Methadone and Morphine.
The results came from a post-fight test administered to Winthers following Rebel Fights most recent event on November 3rd. Winthers was stopped by Richard Blake in the first round on the card.
Winthers has been suspended until July 30, 2008 and has been fined $1500.

Who is Jason Winthers & why is he significant enough 2 mention,other than the fact that he is an MMA fighter that got suspended 4 an evident opiate addiction?Which I might add is probably the worst kind of drug addiction.I know because I’ve been there 1st hand…..unfortunately.
