Marloes Coenen will defend her Strikeforce women's 135 lb title against top contender Miesha Tate at the organization's March 5 show at the Nationwide Center in Columbus, OH.
Tate announced the matchup on her Facebook page late Sunday. Strikeforce is expected to formally announce the bout this week.
The event will also feature a men's light heavyweight championship match between current belt holder Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante and former PRIDE two-division champion Dan Henderson.
Coenen dropped down to 135 lbs following a devastating loss to Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos and defeated former champion Sarah Kaufman via armbar this past October.
Tate earned a title shot by winning a four-woman, one-night tournament in August, grinding out unanimous decisions over Maiju Kujala and Hitomi Akano.
