- The NSAC has handed UFC lightweight Melvin Guillard an 8 month suspension and $2,100 fine after he tested positive for a cocaine metabolite.

- Pete Spratt is slated to face Tamdan McCory at UFC Fight Night 10 on June 12th.

- The UFC has officially announced that Yushin Okami will fill in for Martin Kampmann at UFC 72.

- Rashad Evans, Nate Marquardt and Heath Herring will be at the Arco Arena in Sacramento this Saturday from 1 to 3 pm signing free autographs.

TMZ: HBO Cancels Albrecht

In the wake of his Las Vegas arrest this past weekend, HBO has decided to cut ties with Chairman and CEO, Chris Albrecht.

In a statement obtained by TMZ, Time Warner Chairman and CEO Richard D. Parsons said:

“Jeff Bewkes (President and COO of Time Warner) and I believe that this is the right decision for the Company. We thank Chris for all of his contributions to Home Box Office over the years.”
