Bellator will make their promotional debut in the state of Maine on March 21 with the finals of the season eight welterweight tournament as well as the Bellator debut of former longtime UFC veteran Marcus Davis for Bellator 93.

The event will emanate from the Androscoggin Colisee in Bangor. Davis will face an opponent yet to be named as will undefeated English prospect and former kickboxer Michael Page, who also be making his Bellator debut.

The final round of the latest Bellator welterweight tournament will take place as well, pitting the winners of upcoming semifinal bouts featuring Douglas Lima vs. Brent Weedman and Ben Saunders vs. Raul Amaya.

Davis has won four out of his five bouts since his release from the UFC two years ago and has returned to the welterweight division after years of competing at lightweight.

“Having the chance to fight for a promotion like Bellator in front of my friends, family and fans is a dream come true,” Davis said in a press release. “It’s great to find a new home and fight for one of the biggest promotions in the world.”

Page has won all three of his professional bouts to date, most recently scoring a first-round TKO of Haitham Tantawy at Super Fight League 7 in November.

“I’m looking to put on a show March 21st in my Bellator debut, plain and simple,” Page said. “If you’ve never seen me fight, you’re making a huge mistake not tuning in. Just wait until you see what I can do. Just wait.”
