A heavyweight bout between Pat Barry and Christian Morecraft as well as a welterweight meeting between Josh Neer and Duane Ludwig have been inked for the UFC's first-ever event on FX.
The show, which will likely be titled as UFC Fight Night 26, will take place in January, however a date, venue and location have yet to be announced by the UFC, which announced the event on Tuesday.
Barry and Morecraft will enter the fight under must-win stipulations as each could be in danger of being released from the promotion. Barry has lost two straight fights to Cheick Kongo and Stefan Struve respectively while Morecraft has dropped two of his last three, most recently falling to Matt Mitrione in June.
Neer and Ludwig however, will enter their clash on win streaks. "The Dentist" was victorious in his UFC return in October, winning a three-round unanimous nod over fellow returnee Keith Wisniewski. Ludwig was last seen at UFC on Versus 5 in August, out-striking Amir Sadollah en route to a decision win.
