Anderson Silva: Compare and Contrast

Here’s a pretty cool photo being put out by the UFC - Anderson Silva being pictured at 185 lbs and then at 205 lbs, the weight he will be fighting James Irvin at this Saturday night. There’s definitely a noticeable difference as Silva looks much more “filled” than usual. However in overall size, you can barely tell.

Silva is known as being extremely strong at middlweight, and even though he continues to state that he has no interest in moving up to light heavyweight permanently, one has to wonder if he’d be able to hang with some of the bigger guys in the weight class strength-wise.
