Aleksander Emelianenko, the younger brother of top heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko, is currently scheduled to headline M-1’s first event since the organization announced plans to begin holding worldwide events under new ownership late last year.
The news comes from M-1 MixFight, which is reporting that Emelianenko will participate in the main event of a fifteen-bout card that also features two matchups between internationally-fielded teams. The Red Devil Sport Club product will take on Mo Team League veteran Fabio Maldonado.
