Watch the Dragon Eyes Trailer with JCVD, Cung Le, Trevor Prangley and More

It wasn't until I actually watched this trailer that I made myself go look at who is in it. Jean-Claude Van Damme, Peter Weller and Cung Le are the stars naturally. And if that looks an awfully lot like Trevor Prangley getting his ass kicked for about 30 seconds, that's because it is. Dan Henderson, Gilbert Melendez and Rich Clementi are also credited.

If nothing else, the action sequences are going to be sick.

— According to UFC President Dana White, the UFC will make its debut in New York before the end of the new year, guaranteed. "We're so close. It's going to happen, and I guarantee you it's going to happen this year. — The first edition of the long-running reality show to not take place in the United States, "The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil" will likely air on FUEL TV and will debut on March 9 on its new home of FX. UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz will coach opposite former featherweight king Urijah Faber as they lead a group of lightweight fighters towards a six-figure UFC contract. [MMA Fighting]

Quote of the Day: Could Fedor Emelianenko be Opponent for Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix Winner?

"That's interesting. "I'm not sure what Fedor has planned. I haven't spoken to M-1. I know M-1 executive Steve Bash was in the audience tonight, but we haven't had that conversation yet."

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker left the door open for Fedor Emelianenko to potentially fight the winner of Strikeforce's heavyweight grand prix tournament finals (either Josh Barnett or Daniel Cormier) following the tourney's conclusion. Emelianenko is widely believed to remain under a promotional contract with Showtime despite being released by Strikeforce. Touch of gloves to MMA Junkie for the catch.

— The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale averaged 2.5. million viewers this past Saturday night, the last "TUF" finale that will air on Spike TV before the reality series shifts over to FX in 2012. The event also earned a household rating of 1.7, as well as ratings of 2.4 and 2.9 in the male 18-49 and 18-34 demographics, making it the highest-rated program on ad-supported cable in that age range. — With T.J. Grant sidelined due to injury, "TUF" season eight lightweight Efrain Escudero will return to the UFC to take on Jacob Volkmann in at UFC 141 on December at the 30 MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Escudero was abruptly released from the UFC after posting a 2-2 record, becoming only the second "TUF" winner to be released at the time. Since then, he has won five of six in regional promotions. Faber, Cruz to Coach TUF 15

Urijah Faber and Dominick Cruz will coach opposite each other on the upcoming 15th season of "The Ultimate Fighter" reality show before fighting in a rubber match next summer.

The UFC announced the pairing on Tuesday evening. The latest edition of "TUF" will be the first to air on FX and is scheduled to debut in March.

Lightweights and welterweights are scheduled to compete for two six-figure UFC contracts. Faber and Cruz will be the first bantamweights to coach the show since its inception.

— ProElite has announced a total of six bouts for their scheduled second event on November 5 in Moline, IL following their relaunch earlier this year. Headlining the card will be a pair of former UFC heavyweight champions as Andrei Arlovski battle longtime veteran Travis Fulton and Tim Sylvia takes on German mainstay Andreas Kraniotakes. An eight-man heavyweight prospect tournament also kicks off, spearheaded by former NCAA wrestling champion Mark Ellis. [ProElite.com]

— A lightweight tussle between Team Alpha Male member Danny Castillo and "Ultimate Fighter 13" alumnus Shamar Bailey has been inked for UFC 139, which takes place on November 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA. Castillo recently had a three-fight win streak snapped at the hands of Jacob Volkmann via unanimous decision at UFC on Versus 5 in August. Spike Announces “TUF 14” Cast

The complete cast has been announced for "The Ultimate Fighter 14" which debuts on September 21 and will serve as the final season of the reality series on Spike TV before it shifts over to FX in 2012.

"TUF 14" will be the first season to ever feature fighters in the featherweight and bantamweight divisions. The 32 hopefuls will be coached by UFC middleweight contenders Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Michael Bisping, who will fight on the show's finale in December.

— UFC veterans Kendall Grove and Joe Riggs are likely to rematch under the ProElite banner at the promotion's relaunch event on August 27 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Both fighters are coming off of recent releases from the UFC and Bellator respectively. Grove and Riggs originally fought in May 2004, with Riggs coming away the victor via first-round KO at Rumble on the Rock 5. [MMAFighting.com]

— Former UFC middleweight champion Murilo Bustamante has been forced to withdraw from his upcoming farewell bout against Yuya Shirai at a Clube da Luta event in Brazil this Wednesday due to a back injury suffered in training.
