It turns out that former Ultimate Fighter contestant Seth Petruzelli will not take on undefeated heavyweight prospect Dave Herman at EliteXC: Street Certified on February 16th at the United Bank Arena in Miami, Florida.

According to MMA Junkie, Petruzelli will no longer be part of the bout and has been replaced by American Top Team’s Mario Rinaldi. No word yet as to the reason why Petruzelli was forced out of the bout, injury or otherwise.

The fight will be the EliteXC debut for both fighters at an event which also features a main event between internet street fighting legend Kimbo Slice and former UFC brawler Tank Abbott.

Rinaldi, who weighs-in as a super heavyweight at 280 lbs, has racked up a professional record of 6-2 so far in his young mixed martial arts career. Four of those wins have come by way of submission. His last fight was a submission win over Jason Dolloff at an Extreme Fighting International in October.

Herman, who has not suffered the taste of defeat thus far in his career, has finished every one of his opponent via strikes or submission. His last fight was a win over Justin Kahn at a Maximum Combat show in December where he submitted Kahn with a rear naked choke.

An additional bout that has been added to the event features Rafael Feijao and John Doyle clashing in a light heavyweight fight according to ProElite.com.
