Above is a recap of highlights from Demetrious Johnson's successful defense of the UFC flyweight title against John Dodson.
After the jump are highlights and interviews from the rest of the main card fights. Be sure to check them out.
Demetrious Johnson successfully defended his UFC flyweight title on Saturday night, but took all he could handle from prepared challenger John Dodson in the main event of Saturday night's UFC on FOX 6.
The 16,091 in attendance at United Center in Chicago witnessed Dodson drop the champ thrice within the first two rounds, only for Johnson to storm back with a relentless attack in the later rounds.
"I got dazed a little bit," Johnson said after the fight. "It's going to happen. It's like swimming, you're gonna get splashed. I'm going to get hit."
MMA on Tap will be going live at 4:35 PM ET with real-time results of this evening's UFC on FOX 6 event, which takes place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

In what is now becoming a yearly tradition, the UFC returns to Chicago in January for UFC on FOX 6, which takes place Saturday night at the United Center.
The UFC's latest network television special is headlined by another title fight. This time the flyweights take the stage as Demetrious Johnson defends his belt for the first time against fellow speedster and top contender John Dodson. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will also fight for what could be the last time in the UFC, taking on rising light heavyweight Glover Teixeira.
My predictions are after the jump.

EliteXC and BodogFight veteran Julie Kedzie survived a pair of close calls in the first round before ultimately finishing opponent Angela Hayes at last night’s Battlequest 8 event at the Softball Country Sports Pavilion in Denver, Colorado.
A pair of failed takedown attempts resulted in Hayes being able to secure two separate guillotine chokes that nearly ended the fight on both occasions. However Kedzie was able to escape both times and finally put Hayes on her back.
From there, Kedzie (9-7) transitioned to the mount and started to rain down punches that forced Hayes to cover up. With one of her arms exposed, Kedzie locked in an armbar that quickly forced Hayes (1-4) to tap out. The win comes on the heels of a submission loss to Tonya Evinger in January.
In a fight that is expected to be featured on the upcoming second season of Tapout’s reality show on Versus, John Dodson (2-3) scored a second-round TKO win over Vern Baca (2-4) after a Dodson slam left Baca unable to continue.
