- Dennis “Superman” Hallman is set to begin his fourth stint with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. According to reports, Hallman has signed a four-fight contract with the UFC but no opponent or date his been set. [MMA Junkie]
- International Fight League veteran Brad Blackburn signed a new four-fight contract with the UFC. Blackburn is 3-0 in the UFC with victories over James Giboo, Ryo Chonan, and Edgar Garcia. Blackburn recently underwent shoulder surgery and will not return to the octagon until 2010. [MMA Junkie]

— “Ultimate Fighter 8” lightweight winner Efrain Escudero will fight for the first time since defeating fellow castmate Phillipe Nover at the “Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale in December against American Top Team member Cole Miller at the yet-to-be-announced UFC 103 event in September. Escudero announced the bout during a recent Q&A session with fans on his official website on Tuesday. [MMA Madness]
— A rematch between seasoned veteran Aaron Riley and “Ultimate Fighter” alumnus Shane Nelson has reportedly been booked to take place at UFC 101, which takes place on August 8 in Philadelphia. Riley and Nelson originally met at UFC 96 in March, where Nelson defeated Riley via TKO in just 44 seconds following a controversial stoppage by referee Rick Fike. UFC President Dana White promised a rematch between the two following the event, and has obviously delivered. [MMA Weekly]
— A lightweight bout between undefeated prospects Matt Veach and Evan Dunham has reportedly been agreed upon by both fighters to take place at UFC 102, which is expected to take place on August 29 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. Veach was impressive in his UFC debut back in February, scoring a minor upset of wrestler Matt Grice while Dunham recently scored a first-round TKO of Per Eklund at UFC 95. [Five Ounces of Pain]
