Four bouts added to UFC on FOX 7; Two matchups official for UFC on Fuel TV 9

The UFC continues to finalize fights in preparation for their April shows.

A quartet of fights has been added to the list of UFC on FOX 7 preliminary bouts, all in the lightweight division. Recent Strikeforce signees Jorge Masvidal and Roger Bowling will make their UFC debuts against Tim Means and Anthony Njokuani respectively. TUF Smashes lightweight winner Norman Parke will face Jon Tuck in his first real UFC test. Undefeated prospect Myles Jury will also meet Ramsey Nijem.

In addition, a pivotal featherweight matchup between Brad Pickett and Mike Easton has been signed as well as a 145 pound meeting between Marcus Brimage, who remains undefeated in the UFC, and newcomer Conor McGregor, who currently holds titles in the featherweight and lightweight division in the Cage Warriors promotion.

— King of the Cage lightweight champion Bobby Green has been tapped to replace Lyle Beerbohm against former K-1 Hero's standout Gesias Cavalcante on the undercard of Strikeforce's "Fedor vs. Henderson" event on July 30. The reasoning behind Beerbohm's departure from the contest is currently unknown. Green enters the bout fresh off of a unanimous decision win over Dom O'Grady in April. [Strikeforce]

— Heavy hitting striker Lavar Johnson has been forced out of this weekend's Strikeforce Challengers 17 show with an undisclosed injury. Taking his place in a heavyweight bout against IFL veteran Devin Cole will reportedly be former collegiate football player Shawn Jordan, who recently posted a 1-1 mark under the Bellator banner. Hominick-Taurosevicius, Corbbrey-Njokuani Added to WEC 43

Canadian featherweight Mark “The Machine” Hominick’s second run with World Extreme Cagefighting will begin September 2 when he takes on Deividas Taurosevicius at WEC 43 in Youngstown, Ohio.

According to Sherdog.com, Muhsin Corbbrey will also be appearing on the card in a lightweight affair with Anthony Njokuani.
